I know, right? So good ... Of course, in the comfort of your own home you can slap these bite size bits of yum on any old plate but I fancied this up for those looking to host a dinner party with a few cheese plates.
I'm sure you all have fabulous dining sets and platters but sometimes a rustic look can add simplicity and character, a fresh look. You can find bamboo cutting boards at many grocery stores or online for the best prices. I personally love Bambu. Shown here are a variety of cheeses, fruit and apricot preserves. Nothing outrageous, again, simplicity can go a long way. In case you were wondering, I particularly love the horseradish cheese. Unfortunately, the wrapper is already gone so I can't give you the exact brand but I'm sure you can find it in any grocery store. We've been really into cheese made with raw milk lately. I'm not sure what our infatuation is but it just feels right. You can never go wrong with goat cheese - so light and tasty. The apple really compliments the goat cheese. I like the preserves with all of the cheeses, especially the horseradish. The grapes and cheddar cheeses are always a delectable pairing. Of course, wine compliments the entire dish.
Now I'm no cheese plate professional so if there are any suggestions you can give me please share below in our comment box.
XO, Al
